The Brand Nursery

What Are We Like To Work With?

Let’s start with what we’re not.

We’re not crusty academics who can talk for England, but struggle to reach a conclusion.

We’re not aspiring film directors, constantly looking for an excuse to fly to New York to meet up with the latest ‘next Martin Scorsese’.

And we’re not linen suited twenty-something’s with the ink still drying on their MBA’s who can quote all the case studies, but haven’t actually seen one through for themselves.

So what are we like? Well, we think we’re able to offer you the combination of measured rational thought and creative passion that, in our experience, makes for a potent combination in our business.

We try to be both professional in our work and good fun to be with. We like to work with people we like, and we often build friendships

that extend well beyond the business environment. We’re prepared to get our hands dirty (well…you’d expect nothing less from a business with our name!), and actually enjoy the satisfaction of slogging through the less glamorous, but necessary jobs.

We’re business-focused, and highly business literate - you won’t find us recommending a sexy little idea that might win an award amongst our peers but won’t deliver a solution that satisfies your bankers or shareholders.

And we’re in this for the long-term. That makes commercial sense to us, because there should be benefits in building lasting relationships with our customers, but it’s also a reflection of our professional pride - we take real pleasure in doing a bloody good job and watching the brands we’ve worked with grow and flower.

With new photography that captures Surf in a range of environments, we produced the second edition. Take a look.
